Description: This MTTP publication supports planners and warfighters by establishing tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTP) for coordination and oversight of surveillance, reconnaissance, and PED operations. This publication discusses opportunities for intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance optimization during the operations process. For the planning phase, this MTTP discusses developing and validating requirements, identifying methods, requesting assets, and synchronizing assets. For the execution phase, this MTTP discusses the management and support of allocated assets and dynamic tasking of assets (as necessary) in support of operations. This includes the managing and disseminating information and intelligence from collection. For assessment, this MTTP discusses how to monitor and evaluate the planning and execution of surveillance, reconnaissance, and PED to provide timely and accurate information to the commander. This MTTP discusses how to provide feedback to supporting assets to optimize operations.
